Daisy's Milk Shed

With the farm being located on the outskirts of Attleborough, we decided that an on-farm vending machine would be the perfect way to share our delicious milk with the local community.

Ben has two daughters Eva and Tilly. The idea for the name Daisy's Milk Shed came about because when Eva was a baby, she was given a toy cow named Daisy and they have been inseparable ever since!

When you come and visit Daisy’s Milk Shed you will often see the cows out
grazing in the fields along the drive.
Our cows are farmed in a low intensity system to ensure they live happy and healthy lives and in turn produce lovely healthy milk.

In the Milk Shed you will find...
-
Our self service raw milk and milkshake machine with a choice of 6 milkshake flavours.
-
Our raw milk coffee machine.
-
Delicious local products including meat, eggs, sweet and savoury treats and much more!

All machines are contactless payment only.

About Raw Milk
Raw Milk is just that raw, unprocessed milk. It has not been pasteurised or homogenised in anyway.
When you purchase your milk and/or milkshake please ensure –
-
You store the milk refrigerated below 4 degrees Celsius
-
The milk is consumed within 4 days of purchase
After 24 hours from vending, the cream will start to rise to the top of the bottle, shake the bottle before pouring to disperse the cream if preferred.

To enable us to be able to sell our raw milk we are fully licensed by the Food Standards Agency. Our milk quality and hygiene standards are regularly tested, and our herd health is under constant assessment.
To comply with legislation as our milk is unpasteurised, we are required to print on the bottles and at point of purchase:“This milk has not been heat treated and may therefore contain organisms harmful to health.”

We ensure we adhere to strict hygiene protocols in the milking parlour and monitor all our cows to ensure they are healthy and happy so that in turn our milk is clean and healthy for you to enjoy. It is our view that any risk from drinking our raw milk is minimal.
However, those who may be more at risk are:
-
Pregnant women
-
Those with a compromised immune system
-
The very young or the very elderly

If you purchase a glass bottle for your milk make sure to wash it thoroughly at home before you come back to refill it.
